Ashley and Danny’s Wedding

We had our engagement photo session with Blush Photo this last Sunday.  I was nervous, Danny wasn’t.  Something about getting in front of a camera, its like public speaking and that right there is were my sister and I differ.  Tiffany (my sister and make up artist) and Kristen have been working together for a long time now on shoots.  This was a walk in the park for them, literally.  We went to Volunteer Park on top of Capital Hill and thankfully the weather kept all weekend!!  Here are a few sneak peeks she sent us.  I can’t wait to get the rest!!

Vegas is something you can’t do in one or two trips we just got back from our forth and I’m ready to head back. I have to say we can navigate ourselves around pretty well with veterans Trevor and Mary Zoe. But give yourself at least 20 more minutes then necessary to get any where, the open container laws can slow you down!! However, the Blue Man Group was worth the hussle. Saturday with the girls was a blast and we did all my favorite things, mostly dancing and a lot of it!! Thanks to Tiffany and Jenni we all had the “let me into this club for free” hair and make up and thats exactly what happend. I’m sorry anyone had to miss it.

Even though this was the 1st lost of the season and the 1st goal was scored against them I had a blast at the last Sounders game.  The game ended in a 1-0 lost but they played very hard for being a man down most of the game.  This picture was taken from a guy sitting behind me.  As you can see  I was the only one standing so he probably was taking it to show all his friends that he had some jerk standing up in front of him blocking his view!  If anyone ever wants to go to a game let me know.

This was the second time we both participated in the St. Pats Dash but we were defiantly not prepared for the weather. The dash is a 5K jaunt around Seattle with a Irish festival to welcome us back. The best part is that the starting line is 2 blocks from our apartment and this year so was the finish. We had big plans to meet up with our friends at the beer garden but the snow and rain made it miserable. Maybe next year.

Since we changed websites, thanks Trevor, we forgot to repost the information about wedding venue.

It was actually in the Seattle Metropolitan magazine that I read about Lake Union Cafe and decided to schedule a walk through.  It was perfect but maybe a little  too perfect.  What are we called . . .Bridezilla??  So, I had to drag Danny all over Seattle exhausting every last choice the city had to offer and I finally had to admit they did not compare to LUC.  Its simple and comfortable and just what we were looking for although it may have taken me a few wasted weekends to realize it.

We had a great Saturday taking an adventure to Ikea and leaving with everything we went to find.  In the middle of cleaning the apartment on Friday I decided to rearrange the living room and found a little extra space for a computer desk.  Although it was probably more of a gift for me Danny got to use his drill so I consider it a win win.

We went prepared with our lists and did not look at them once.  Once you get into a groove there is no stopping you!!  The guns are a little difficult and we did have to take it back once, I think Danny was disappointed we only had one, it froze but our list was saved so no harm done.  We tried to do to much by going to both stores in one day and when all the china patterns started looking the same decided to call it a day.

So I know it has been a couple of months since our last post, okay so maybe a few, but here is what you may have missed:

Christmas in Olympia and then down to Washougal for the Christmas eve Party. To the right you can see our Christmas tree that danny surprised me with about 3 years ago. The best part, we are just about the same height!!

Trevor and Mary’s Christmas party. There was a snow storm outside but that couldn’t keep us away from Cranium and karaoke.

Which brings us to ringing in the New Year. I have no pictures of this becasue although I brought out my camera it never made it out of my purse. Enjoy a picture from NYE 2008 when we were headed down to Friday Harbor on Johns boat.

Now that we are all caught up we have less then 8 months and things are really starting to pick up.
